HSCC Pet Portrait Event!

I know some of you have been anxiously awaiting news of our next Pet Portrait Event. Well, it's that time again! Plans are in the final stages for our next event to be held on June 20/21st. This event will benefit the Humane Society of Calloway County. We've got the place (Murray), the location (Library Annex), and the dates (above). Within the next couple of days we will have our shooting schedule complete and will be taking session reservations. Session times will fill up quickly, so check back here for final details!

Snake season has arrived folks!

I'm sitting in my comfy chair, destressing after work today, when out the window I notice something odd about a tree in the yard. I had to take a few shots of this big boy (ughhhhh!). Though, when I realized at first that I couldn't see both ends of him.........I went back inside for a longer lens!!!!!

Just Bee-cause!

I'm a HUGE fan of Mother Nature! I often spend time exploring the outdoors with camera in hand and enjoying the simplest of things. Last Saturday, I was entertained for more than an hour by a bumble bee who's taken up residence at my back door. This is my favorite shot from our impromtu session. It is also partial inspiration for my up-coming art series: "The Backside of Life!"
